Dixie is a beautiful 5 year old paint mare! She's sure to impress in the show ring with her gorgeous color, dainty face, and laid back manner!
Approx 15hh.
Broke to ride. Smooth and sweet under saddle! Neck reins like a DREAM!
This horse has some BRAKES too.. Just lean back. No need for reins!
Leads and ties. Lunges on a line or in a round pen. Loads hesitantly (we have been working on this).
Awesome trail horse... Goes out alone or with a group!
Dixie would make an excellent trail or pleasure horse, but she is probably not suitable for timed events.
Great around cats, dogs, chickens, donkeys, goats, etc.
Stands well for the farrier.
Suitable for a child on a leadline; PERFECT for an advanced beginner or intermediate rider.
Only vices are that she is slightly head shy (she hates her ears being touched) and she is sometimes hard to catch.
